As professionals, we often picture the project manager, or PM, as a business leader who keeps the client, team, and firm aligned. This course extends that picture in a direction that catches many project managers off guard: winning work. This course is designed for project managers, aspiring project managers, architects, engineers, construction professionals, and others involved in winning and delivering AEC work. It explores the project manager’s role as a seller-doer who helps generate future opportunities through strong delivery, trusted relationships, and ongoing client engagement.
In this course, you will examine relationship-driven business development, pre-RFP positioning, go/no-go decisions, proposal development, RFP compliance, interviews, and repeat work. The course also highlights how communication, monitoring, and client trust help firms pursue the right opportunities, communicate value, and convert successful delivery into future business.
