Biography
Jorge Martinez lived in his native homeland of the South American
country of Venezuela, where he completed his formal studies in the realm of
science and particularly in the electrical field.
At the age of 17, he began travelling, looking for an ideal school to
reinvent himself as a sound engineer where he ended up in the University of
Bridgeport, Connecticut for his initial studies of the English language and
basic introductory courses of science. It was here where he had realized that
he was not phonetically endowed, or perhaps he knew this long before but had to
try; then taking on the path of Electrical Engineering as his major and later
adding Computer Sciences as his minor by the time the “Ping-Pong” ATTARI gaming
console hit the streets of New York city.
Acquiring his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (including
the minor in C.S,) at Memphis State University, he immediately began his
journey through the here referred field of electrical controls and automation.
At
his home in Fort Myers, Florida, he continues to practice in this field,
thirsty for challenging the limitations imposed onto the scope of Building
Automation Systems.
