Biography
Scott Agnew is the Training Coordinator for Basin Electric’s
Transmission System Maintenance Division in North Dakota and an Adjunct
Instructor for Bismarck State College’s Energy Program. Before joining Basin
Electric, Scott served as the Training Supervisor for the Minnkota Power
Cooperative, Assistant Professor of Energy Technology at Bismarck State College,
and an Operator at the Conoco Refinery in Billings, MT. Scott has an Applied
Science degree in Process Plant Technology, Bachelors of Science degree in
Energy Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
With over 26 years of experience in Operations and
Maintenance in both the Power Generation and Oil Industries, Scott brings
unique insight into the training he develops and facilitates. In addition to
the 60+ online training courses he has developed, Scott also authored a
textbook on Turbines and Combined Cycle for the Bismarck State College National
Energy Center of Excellence in 2012.
