We all are aware of accessibility in the average built environment, but what about special rooms, spaces, and elements? This topic covers assembly areas, kitchens, medical care facilities, transient lodging guest rooms, residential dwelling units, and more. By becoming aware of these spaces and elements, applying the appropriate standards, we can improve accessibility for all throughout the built environment. This course will cover scoping from Chapter 2 of the 2010 ADA Standards and Chapter 8: Special Rooms, Spaces, and Elements.
