Designed for engineers seeking licensure or maintaining their professional credentials, the course covers essential topics including licensure procedures by examination and endorsement, education and experience requirements, examination processes, license renewal and maintenance, professional conduct standards, and disciplinary processes. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of Chapter 471, Florida Statutes, and Rule Chapter 61G15, Florida Administrative Code, which govern engineering practice in Florida, while examining the Florida Board of Professional Engineers' role in license application, renewal, and enforcement actions. The course addresses professional practice standards across multiple engineering disciplines, including structural, fire protection, electrical, and mechanical engineering, with special attention to seal and signature requirements, documentation standards, and the disciplinary consequences of non-compliance with Florida engineering regulations.
