Residential Construction Safety

Construction work is essential in shaping the world around us but it also involves significant risks. A strong safety-first mindset is key to preventing injuries and ensuring a long, healthy career in the industry. This course empowers residential construction workers to recognize and control hazards on the job site. Learners will explore OSHA’s role in workplace safety, examine the leading causes of injuries and fatalities (the Focus Four Hazards), and apply practical strategies to reduce risks and protect both themselves and their coworkers. Upon completion, participants will be able to confidently identify hazards, assess risk, and implement effective safety controls to maintain a safe work environment for everyone.
