Paper is a major commodity used all across the world for many different products. Two important types of paper products are copy paper and digital printing paper. These paper products are created from large parent rolls of paper that are slitted, cut, stacked, and wrapped. This module will provide an overview of the process for sheeting and forming reams of paper.
•Identify and describe typical components involved in the sheeting of paper
•Describe the typical flow of material through the paper sheeting components
•Identify and describe the safety hazards and safe work practices associated with sheeting
•Identify common personal protective equipment that should be worn around sheeting equipment
